IIGCC
Institutional Investors Group on Climate Change's mission is to mobilise capital for the low carbon transition and to ensure resilience to the impacts of a changing climate by collaborating with business, policy makers and fellow investors
Ensuring the right policy frameworks are in place to unlock investment opportunities and scale up flows of low carbon finance is essential to addressing climate change. Focused primarily at the EU and global levels, the work of the IIGCC ensures members are up to speed and able to actively engage on policy of direct relevance to their portfolios and the transition to a low carbon economy.
Working with policymakers, parliamentarians, ministers and other stakeholders, the investor's perspective at the heart of the conversation on climate change and sustainable finance policy is ensured. This enables IIGCC to help inform and strengthen policy decisions made in support of a low carbon, climate resilient world.
